76 euro targa
What is the ballpark for this car in USA? (BTW, if you haven't noticed, Mr. Anderson doesn't include these in his Excellence column)

Are you asking for a value? I have a '76 Euro coupe. They are basically identical to their US-spec counterparts. I would value it accordingly.

Euro should = ROW. Correct me if I'm wrong. I thought euro carerras were 3.0 liters w/that special aluminum engine.

Ahhh...yes the "Carrera 3.0" was 3.0 liters, but you only said '76 euro targa. The euro 911s in 76 were 2.7 liters. The Carrera 3.0 was 3.0 liters. Two different cars.
I would value a 3.0 liter Carrera about like an SC (only I think they are cooler and worth a little more for that reason). Lots of people have SCs, not many have 3.0 liter Carreras... Mike

IROC, I didn't know that. I thought the ROW/euro were all Carerra 3.0s. Cool bit of info.

Besides the engine, the C3 had a different body as well. The normal 2.7 was a narrow body, the C3 had SC/Carrera 9" rear flares.

Interesting Bill. Didn't know that. Saw two cars, 78 euro SC coupe and 76 Carerra 3.0 targa. Both s'posed to be in pretty good condition. Same price.

A 76 Euro Carerra 3.0 is 200hp and (probably) lighter also.

Is $13K a fair price to pay for a good condition car?

Maybe but something is only worth what someone else is willing to pay for it. Any chances of tossing some pics? Did you do a PPI?

No PPI yet. I'm still trying to get better pics myself.

My car is a '76 C3 targa so I am biased, it has been a wonderful car.
