Los Angeles - Hangover Rally 2006
As with the past several years, there'll be a crowd of fast cars gathering at TRE Motorsports on New Year's Day at 8:00 am in the morning for a canyon drive out to Malibu, where hundreds of other cars old and new traditionally gather in what's frequently referred to as the 'Hangover Rally.'
As I understand it, this is the plan for the TRE group: Meet at 8 am at TRE 11046 Chandler Blvd. There will be Porsches and other cars -- everyone is welcome. At 8:30 am, the group will head down Laurel Canyon to Mulholland drive, then to Sepulveda, down to Sunset, all the way to Topanga, with a stop scheduled at the Calabasas Gelson's mall where we usually meet for Mulholland runs. The plan is to leave the Gelson's at 9:30 am, back up Mulholland Highway, to Stunt Road, to Piuma, and back down to Malibu Canyon. From there, the thinking is maybe Pacific Coast Highway to Latigo Canyon to Encinal and back inland to Mulholland Highway and on to the (TBA) park for a picnic lunch. Bring your own food and drink for the picnic. If I've got this wrong, hopefully TRE Cup will correct me.

wow.. you guys are hardcore! As much as I consider myself an enthusiast I would not be able to walk straight, let alone drive at 8am on New Year's day !

I'm planning on being there !
Hopefully I can mooch a ride off of a couple of the guys so I don't have to follow along in my Malibu rental !!! I'm supposed to bring back eyecandy photos and stories of BBII and others to Eric McKenna , Flyer88 and the other grain-fed Mid-Western boys ....

Hello Everyone and Happy Holidays to All!! Here we go again with our annual New Years Day fun run. Plan on an extended first half with us meeting at our shop (address below) for coffee and donuts at 8:00 am January 1st. We will leave at approx 8:45 (maybe sooner) and follow Mulholland Drive thru the Hollywood hills, drop to Sepulveda, then Sunset to PCH. There will be friends joining us from further north here. Part two of our fun run will take us back thru the Malibu area mountains with another visit to pch. Our final destination will be announced where we can enjoy our picnic basket lunches that you brought. Please RSVP as to which point you will be joining us so we can plan on enough coffee/donuts at the TRE location only.
