To slant or not to slant nose???

I have a 1987 911 Targa, my friend has a 1985 slantnose cabriolet, he has offered to exchange fenders with me, is it a fopa for me? am I doing a half a$$ed conversion? I do like the look of the slantnose with the flip up lights and at the same time I would be getting rid of the H5s. The slantoses Ive seen have had wide turbo style fenders, thanks

I like the slatnose look but not on a Targa nor a cab. Just my opinion.

Don't do it, unless you really, REALLY love the slant nose look.

I personally would not do a Targa and I'd never do flatnose fenders on a car with Carrera flares. Besides you'll have turbo flares up front and not on the rear.

IMO, I think stock would be best.

Now now boys, dont argue. I happen to have a targa-slantnose and I really love it. You wont see another one coming at you. If you dont have wide flares on the rear of your car, dont do it. But, to each his own.

I may be an old fart but that looks pretty darn good. Nice color with the twists. Looks like you painted the targa bar to match the body. Got a pic from the side with the roof off? Targas always look best topless.

It's, just a matter of your taste. Personally I wouldn't do it unless you put the turbo flairs in the rear.

strupgolf.. gorgeous car.

I'm in the minority here but I like the slant nose exposed light.. muscle fender look on a carrera body car.
