Rear Sway Bar Help Please
Pulled my rear sway bar off of its bushings, the two brackets that bolt to the frame, when I dropped my motor and trannie. Now I can't get it back up to the mounting position, even using a jack, it stops about 2 inches below where it belongs. Did this with the car on jack stands on the torsion bar covers. What am I missing.

If I recall correctly you can attach either at the drop link or the bushings first, then lower the car so there is weight on the wheels. Should just bolt up then.

Never had any problem on mine. Stock size?

could the drop links spun around the opposite way and you got it flipped over? it is a later g-50 bar it may be holding up on the tranny?
just spit balling here, you know see what sticks. |
