87 Carrera -what a great car!

I just came back from a 700 mile trip to Hot Springs AR for a weekend of driving with my family. My 87 kept up with the newer 911 and Caymans and ran so well. I am amazed at how fun and reliable these 911s can be!

Our cars have nearly the exact bits. Mine's Guards though.

Looking good, and yes, they are great, fun cars.

Your car's the one of those I'd choose everytime on road or track.
And yup - I've done many 2-3000 mile runs and never had one problem in my 3.2 - other than every wiper I've ever tried sucking

FIFY

The G50 3.2s are the perfect blend of old and new. Of course, I'm biased.

The wheels are the RH Speedline reps, she only has 57k. I just had it serviced with a valve adjustment, plugs, etc and she ran great. I have had the car for 5 yrs and I think this one is a keeper. With the way prices are I think if I ever let it go I might not find another one...drove the whole weekend and never turned on the radio!

Great looking car Grando! I use one of those $1.50 AutoZone plastic basket on a bracket and hang it on the door pocket. Don't ask me how many times I've opened the door and dumped my cup.

Great looking car! Def the one I'd choose out of your group
Here's another cup holder I saw at cars and coffee one day. I will be adding one this year! The JM cup holder. 1979 Porsche 930 Turbo Coupe - Interior Accessories - Page 2

Best looking car out of that bunch by far!
I only wish we had better weather here in the UK.

John, you know that thing between the seats that doesn't do anything. Lose a pound or two by throwing the guts of it away and use it like this.

Just curious: with the mileage that low, has the clutch fork conversion ever done on that G50? I only have 34,000 mi on my '88 and the conversion hasn't been done and doesn't seem to need it yet. Didn't know if people were getting it done because it was creating a problem, or just making the conversion at times when the engine was out for other reasons...
