rust prevention - any experience, anyone?

I know in the maritime world this type of technology is used effectively (sacrificial anodes, for example).

I'm curious whether anyone has used this tech on a car with success. If it works, it could be a great option for these 911's?

Emery,
If you do a search on "electronic rust prevention" you will find that this technology has been discussed. The thread also has links to additional discussions on the topic.

Did not seem to have any first hand experience, just opinions. I'll keep searching. If I find any hard data I'll share it.
