That is alcantara... the liner, A-pillars and B-pillars are covered by it.. It looks wicked!

Matteo, such a great project. Only wish I could have seen it in person.

Have fun with it!

I think you can see it at Treffen, unless Matteo changed his plan.

why don't you fly the good Doctor Timmins to your shop in NC and let him tune and install the engine there?

Hey it's only money...

Treffen? Really? That would be very cool.

Grrrrrrr......

After 8 months in the shop I missed Monterey with my car by 10 days. I wasn't pleased.

In retrospect I shouldn't have said a thing. Because of the "rush" it took forever to get all the little details sorted out after the car made its first appearance. Then on the way to Santa Rosa last year I started sorting out the typical new car issues. A 50 section of that 2000 mile trip was on a flat bed. And if it wasn't for the help another very generous Porsche owner it would have been more like 800 miles.

For the past 7 or 8 years it has been held along the California coast some where. Camberia for a couple of years. Two years ago it was Monterey. Last year it was Santa Rosa. This year is San Luis Obispo.

It is a Rgruppe event. You can learn more here.

teo,

How are you routing the canisters for the front shocks? I just bought the FOX's but I'm not real psyched on the stock mounting position.

thanks
Ken

They should do it at Pismo Beach one year. The Bugs cartoons where he comes out of his tunnel with a map would be cool on a whole new level. Bugs and Daffy in an Rgruppe car en route to Pismo (above ground for a change) would make a great poster too.

Kojo - we weren't stoked about it either. This is how we are doing it:

Does the shop that is doing your car sell those roll bars? I would be interested, if that is a complete bolt in bar that is pretty cool - especially like the tie on the B pillar.

Please let me know

They custom made it for me... But I am sure they could do the same again.

One of their expertise is building roll cages for racecars. My roll bar is built with the idea that if in future I want a full cage I (well they) can always add to it.

I will ask Keith to chime in... though as he's really the expert.

I can PM you some more infos if you want.

Thanks RDANE, I am in Michigan and Curt Egerer, and a few others made it from here. I would love to have a similar event here in the Midwest, while not the PCH I think the Tail of the Dragon to shake down Matteo's beast would be nice. I would buy all the Chimay or Duvel Matteo could drink to compare notes on our cars.

Kieth,

to mount the Fox's inboard did you have to lengthen the line to the canister?

Thanks
Ken
