New Garage Bling- Carrera sign

Just got a new Carrera metal sign from Ebay. I painted that part of the wall to match the car and mounted the sign.

Since I love Porsches, Alfas and Audis, I have to make room for all three. Anyone know where I can find some Audi rings??

I noticed in the seller's write-up, he's willing to do custom work, perhaps he would do Audi rings. I was considering having "parts & service" made up in smaller letters to add to my sign.

That stuff is always cool but unfortunately very illegal for someone on eBay to sell without a license from Porsche and its highly unlikely that they have one.

Ebay. What can you say. They have power sellers from Asia that sell everything including Porsche watches for 26 USD. I know that the porsche crest is license, do you think the Carrera sign is as well?

Here is the sign that I have hanging above my car. While it is not as big it is porcelain on metal and from the factory. I have had it for many years.

The Carrera script would be based upon the fact that the logo is on a few thousand of their cars that carry design patents and it is not a standard script. Don't get me wrong, I think your sign is cool even though the script is not an accurate copy. What gets me is that people think they can non-chalantly copy other companies trademark logos, print t-shirts, signs, whatever without regard to the law.

Carrera is in the public domain.....the name and the script combined is where the Porsche guys START tohave an issue.....the first posted pic is NOT a true Carrera script....the "C" is off and the slant is different.

Luis--because I own a Porsche and an Audi,you can have this for free if it suits. I think it might be too small for your display.
My Audi 80 took one up the rear a while back and I had to replace the trunk lid. Lots of lights and stuff left over,pretty much guarantees I wont have any more damage in that area!
