Help! - 1988 targa but no owners manual
I recently acquired a 1988 Targa without an owners manual. Both Porsche NA and PelicanParts appear to out of these. Are there any other sources worth looking into?

I've tried ebay, wtb on pelican parts, and run a google search. I've found lots of service manuals but no owners manuals. I guess I will need to just keep checking.

It will come up on ebay eventually. You can save a search with ebay, so they will alert you if your search terms come up with a new item. That way you don't have to go to ebay all the time to check by hand.

I have an 88 manual that I picked up from a swap meet. I paid $30 for it You'll definitely find one on e-bay. I can look something up for you, or copy a few pages for you.

Mike, Mike,
There are two areas in the owners manual that I have a particular interest in. 1) How do all the a/c, defrost, heat and vent controls work. 2) The multiple oil gauges/indicators If either of you would be able to copy and fax or email those pages to me that would be much appreciated. I looked through my owners manual but it for a 85/86 carrera. I would suggest you get a Bentley manual. I bought mine of ebay for $76. I believe amazon has it for about the same price right now. I will still scan and send out the pages from my owners manual if you still want it, but I have to wait until monday. Mike
