Targa & Cab Experts - opinions wanted
Here is the new B-pillar seal configuration I've come up with for my fiberglass cab hardtop. Basically the OEM quarter window seal folds over a lip, and then the targa roll bar seal goes over that, and then the stock targa top-to-window seal meets up to those. The picture doesn't show it very qell, because everything is jusr roughed-in right now. Both seals would be gooped down with proper adhesive.
The B pillar was splashed from an original Targa roll bar and merged with a coupe window splash. The idea is to use as much off-the-shelf stock stuff as possible. Does this look like it will be sufficient? I think it will be, but I wanted to run it past you guys. Also improved is the windshield header interface, which was splashed from a OEM targa hardtop, and the rear mounting surface, which was splashed from an OEM cab. I also want to publicly thank Hayden (from WEVO) for lending me the targa to experiment with! More pix @ http://rennlight.com/cgi-bin/search.cgi?string=911+cab+hardtop

looking good Thom. I would check with Tyson, he has done a number of conversions from targa to cab I think. I recently noticed a vendor in France doing this. Keep us posted!
