How Long for Oil Seals to Dry Up?
How long a period of inactivity does it take for oil seals to dry up? Is having the oil drained on my motor while I do some work on it going to be a problem if I string the work out a few weeks or even a month?

a few months is not a problem. A few years, maybe.
