Vague recollection....

I believe the person lives in the northern US, Minnesota, Upper Michigan, something like that, with plumbing to his garage.

He didn't turn off the water line (I think it had been "warm" recently), then left for a while, vacation or something. BIG cold snap, froze the pipes which burst SPRAYING/MISTING water on everything which froze.

But MAN, that's like a 3 year old recollection... Maybe he thought there was a black Audi wagon in there...
