What cam is this?
Buddy is looking at a 930 with these cams. Can anyone ID these numbers?

I am suprized that Camgrinder did not jump on this one. I would drop John Dougherty a line/call on this one.

AN means Andial.. I dont remember what the 959 part number is.
I think its similar to the Group B profile. If i can find the info I will post it.

Thanks!
This motor was built in CA and ended up in NJ. Supposedly built by RUF. Don't think RUF would use Andial cams, something fishy..

I ran the same cams in my track car a few years back.
Andial's group B, "screams top end ".

A phone call to Andial created more headscratching. They say all their cam part numbers start with AND, not AN, and that this is not an Andial cam. What the heck?
Amac - how would the Group B cams perform in a street car? Idle issues?

I looked thru my files and did not find anything. The numbers on the back are a date code. Probably early 90's.
You can send me the cam and I can "Cam doctor" it and give you all the specs.

I was told by Stoddard parts tech that the cam numbers may not be a good indicator of its model, assuming it hasn't been redone.

RarlyL8,
Back in the late 80's the group B cams were the hot rod cam of choice for 930's. My car ran great on the street with these cams, but it was mod'ed to 600 HP. The car in question should run great, a big turbo and intercooler will help the lack of low end power.
