Great deal on 1973 911 at Barrett Jackson
OK, I just discovered the search feature on the Barrett jackson site. This 1973 "Resto-Mod" 911 looks like a great deal to me. I'm not sure but it also looks like it may be from a 2004 auction - before 4 million dollar busses and 2 million dollar Cudas!

not original powerplant..hurts value some although there are those who would prefer the 3.0. still, looks like a nice, clean car..wonder if the sheeps are hiding rotten vinyl though. not a cheap price.

John Tolen listed as the cosmetic restoration person,...and the purchase price alone probably wouldn't cover his work, he was in the top rungs of Porsche restoration at the PCA level for many years. Not sure why he was involved with this project....

I think this was a better deal (and was an "S" too) from 2005...

I'm not a Targa fan (it rains a lot in Oregon
) but I agree, somebody got a great buy with the '73 selling at 21K...
