As the stock n/b used 6" and the '73RS in competition form used 8" there is an arguement for calling them 2" flares, but since the 9's fit equally well there is also an arguement for calling them 3" flares.
Any hoo, to answer the main question, no. Most people just use SC/Carrera flares

I had thought factory RS flares and bumper extensions were available, but I don't see them listed in the Pelican catalog. However, Pelican does sell SC/Carrera flares, which are very close in size and shape to RS flares (although slightly different).

Contact Hank with at www.gt-racing.com
He has f/g that is top notch stuff and ships right away. Also contact Bill at www.restoration-design.com Bill has steel flares that really work well too. The shop that I PT with (Stratton Motorsports, Winter Park, Fl) has been doing RS conversions for years and these guys are all top drawer. We're finishing my '86 Carrera slant in time for the 24 Hours @ Daytone this weekend and Gary Stratton and myself will be signing everyone into the Porsche Paddock Sat. AM. Steve E

you can still get the steel touring bumpers from the dealer
the price is breathtaking (~$1100 for the pair)...about the same price as Pelican Parts they should mate up with either RS or Carrera flares

No those are the same. It's the later G50 Carrera's that have different looking tbar holes. If you're going to put rocker covers on the car they will all but hide the hole anyway. Lots of people choose to run rockerless for the light weight look, and it can help lower oil temps on front cooler equipped cars.
