No I am not picky at all - heck I was looking at a 912 junker right now for 2-3.5 (listed at 4.5)k --see the thread in cars for sale-but that thing would be more than I can handle.
I have not followed the market hard and fast--its been more on and off, and if a car is local I'll check it out. Sometimes I will search really hard for a month--then go back to BMWs. But the main reason is that I don't have cash-in-hand, nor do i really have much cash in the first place. You have to be in possession of the cash and be able to take it to the seller immediately to get these deals -- thats what I gather. Jeff sorry to fill up your thread--hey at least you are getting some bumps in the process...

I am happy to see all of the viewpoints. one good thing is that I can afford to wait for that one buyer, whether they come or not. I am happy to keep the car if I really cant get much for it. I was definitely attracted to the fact that it was all original when I bought it as well. Who knows. I do appreciate everyones input.
