had a customer who drove a mustang come in the shop once and tell me that "someone shot at me then my subwoofers stopped bumping".......
after opening his trunk we saw an enclosure which another shop built, they built the box into the spare tire well and screwed 2 screws into the fuel tank which is directly underneath. when the customers woofer sparked it ignited the gas fumes which built up inside the box and "inverted" the woofers outward from the explosion....hence he thought he got shot at. funny stuff, he got lucky though.

i ran over a partial cynderblock last year in my 911.....it disintegrated under the fuel tank and left a nice gouge......scared the crap out of me as it was VERY loud, continued on my way after a thorough inspection.

Check your relays as well... when I was building machines we had one of these solid state ones go boom. Sounded like a lady finger... scared the crap out of everyone since it was 3 in the morning ... its hard to put the smoke back in once it is out.
