Wow thats cool Tom thanks
Your car is always one I work towards as a goal to achieve same results No offence to the other RSR replicas out there as they are all fantastic but with Tom's being Orange and it was one I followed closely on the board. Heh when they are all finished how about a group photo done by one of the photoshop experts on the board, great background, and a whole lot of stunning machinery, something to hang on the garage wall?? |
Tell us a little bit more about the engine management. Are you using the Bosch Motronic for spark or some other aftermarket setup. BTW, awesome looking car and great color. I also like the 964 gauge. I did the same to my early Targa when I put the 3.6 in. It wasn't too hard to make them work. The fuel gauge needs the electronic sending unit from an early 964. Other than that it's a slam if the tranny has the electronic pickup for speed.
Cheers, ingo |
Hello Ingo,
Using standard Bosch motronic with RUF chip that claims a 20hp increase, will dyno when finished and see thanks for compliments |
Red964 black paint used was general stonechip with statin black on top

Johnny B... any updates? Pix?
|
Hey Jonny B...
I'm interested too!! Your last post was so tantalizing. What's the current status? |
If anyone hasnt said it yet, might want to re-think doing solid mounts while using carbs. I believe I was told the vibrations would cause the fuel to shake and whatnot in the float bowls causing funky stuff.

Ahhh....look at my post above....we discussed this very matter......

D'oh.. sorry about that. :D I had just figured there was the "Cool" posts on the entire second page. But it is a very well thought out and put together car by the looks of it.
