cleaning heater channels ??

My 76 911 was sort of a barn find.As such I think mice may have left material behind in the heater channels between the flapper boxes and the front duct work.

Does anyone have experience with this?

Yes, I removed the front heat ducts and used a shop vac to remove the bulk of the material. The shop vac hose end was nearly a perfect fit. I then took a fish rod and rag soaked in super clean and ran thru them until clean.
