cars we never should have sold my 73S

This is a car I miss daily. This picture was taken a few years ago on the back straight at road atlanta, at the kink right before the bridge. Car was a euro 73S sporto, 2.7 rs spec engine, comlete with the correct mfi space cam, P&C... why did i sell. S sportos had a torque converter that took an extra 200 or 300 rpm to lock up-it was like driving a chain saw! it was nice. lets see the cars you regret selling! bill

Well, the 356B I sold would be nice to have back. And, as I've said many times before here, I let a good enough '77 Targa go for next to nothing rather than chase down some aggravating problems. That was before Pelican. I could have used this BBS to straighten out the car and saved 1000's that have been spent on cars since.

Now, OTOH, the 914 race car I built, blew up and sold is/was better off sold.

I wish I had not sold my 78 911SC. It was a really fun car, and I bought it used in 88 with 22K miles on it, sold it in 92 with 48K miles. It would still be going strong after driving it all of these years.

65 Big Tank (36 gal ) corvette, 68 vette, 67 small block, 69 Z-28, silver, 69 Z-28 blue, 70 Grand Sport 455 Buick convertible, yea, when they were not worth much, or as much as today. If I had them today, I would'nt have any room to store them. But they were mostly noisy, loud, poor drivers, and I much prefer my Porsche 911 today.

I shouldn'ta traded off my '95 Toyota Tacoma a few years ago for a new car. I could have had it paid off and been in a Porsche much quicker!

My 73 911S sunroof coupe
Not sold yet, so no regrets.
Beautiful car. I am somewhat forced to sell to get some funding for a company start up. Bummer. I have tried to think up alternatives to keep the car but it always comes back to the car being sold. I NEED MOOONNNEY.

Heres a few pics of my 73S waiting for its garage to be finished. I was playing around with my 19" rims for my 5series.

I just lowered the car on to the rim.

Bill- Cool pic of youre S in action anyother pics of it.

My 97 Targa. Red/Black. I sold to a buddy who I see often and every time I see it it looks better. Just like an ex-girlfriend.

'73 Ford Capri V6 with a manual 4 speed. The car was quick, nimble, and didn't look all that bad. All it really needed was an overdrive.

dave-glad to hear your 72 is coming togather...i hate myself most the time when i thinkabout what has been through my garage over the years. This photo was taken by some hot shot photographer who makes his living his way...it is a great photo if I may say so...i cant recall his name. that particular day it was an open session on he track, 935s, cup cars, a few old nascar road course cars, panoz was shaking down his alms cars that day also...so much fun. My 73S now lives in Belgium. Currently working on a 93 cup clone with 3.8 rs spec...and a realy nice 2002 tii. Those 6 cyl capris would RIP! There is one here in Paducah that I have been looking for for the past couple months...i will find it.

i sold my 73 to buy a 996, and finish a cobra replica. i liked the 996 a lot, but the cobra replica drove like, well, not as well as I would have liked. It was pretty cool, and fast as hell.

I didn't think anyone here would mention anything about Corvettes. So, now that the ice has been broken (JW- ), I sold my very first car, a '57 283, single quad, 3-speed, both tops for $1400 in '64. Did you do any worse than that?
