Flare Value?
Just curious - going to see a car this weekend that has some unidentified flares. How much would a set of turbo flares be worth?
What about a set of ST or RSR flares? General ballpark? Thanks

I would say just flare not welded on would be worth 5-700 and if they are welded on the front fenders the fenders are worth 600 alone. The rear flares would be a 100 a side if they were added later IMHO that is

Thanks ben. Is that for turbo flares? I'd think that for ST flares or RSR, it'd be worth a lot more than that. Then again, i'm not sure how to tell what kind of flares they are to begin with.
I'll try to post a picture. The flares are definitely attached - I'm not sure if they're welded on, or whether they're even metal at all - could be glass.

Anyone else have thoughts as to the value of various flare types?

Ok, I got a photo. Can anyone identify these? They look like ST flares to me, but I'm no expert.

They could well be ST flares. The rears are definetly not turbo nor RSR... not big (wide). They are 9' in my opinion... So that should help identifying the front ones....
I don't know the difference between RSR and ST front flares... |

Yep, those are ST flares. Why are these appearing on Targas??? I got my steel ST flares off from a targa!?!?!? Anyways, if they are steel then they are worth big bucks. On the otherhand if they are fiberglass then they are not really worth anything because you can buy those reasonable priced from GT racing. Also, it would be too difficult to separate them from the car.
Front RSR and front ST flares are identical.
