Engne temp quage (where does it hook up?)

I've spent the last 4 months putting together / restoring my '77 911S with the famed (shamed?) 2.7L motor. The car is done and looks and runs great but I don't get a reading on my engine temp gauge. Nothing in the dash was removed but the engine came out for painting and I'm sure that's where the connection is missing. Can someone tell me or show me what the connection looks like?

The temp sender is located to the lower right of the fan, next to the engine mount bolt, and below the oil pressure sensor.

If you go to the Pelican parts index, you can see a picture of one. It needs to be matched to the gauge.
