how would you go about adjusting this door

here is someone elses car i used to show my example. I have exagerated it to show my point. The white outline shows how my door is hanging. the red triangle shows my gap. In reality there is only about a 1/8" difference between the front and back of the door at the lower sill. Am I to assum I will need to use shims to level out the door? The back of the door is at the right heigt, its the front of the door that is off.

The hinges, where bolted into the pillar, need to have the bolts backed out and allow the door to settle in the front. The hinge bolts have a slot to move around in. You may also have to shim behind the hinge to get the gaps correct.
