SC/Carrera bumper guard difference?

I know the SC and Carrera/930 rear bumper guards are different but is there a way to tell then apart visually? Thanks

Hard to tell by just eye-balling them. The difference, I believe, is where the lower half mates up to the lower valance. If you try to swap them you will have some gaps.

SC bumper guard part numbers will start with 911. Carreras use the turbo bumper guards, which start with 930.

Has anyone tried switching these and if so, how bad are the gaps? I am looking at installing Carrera bumper guards on an SC I am working on.

The gaps are something like 3/8th's of an inch, or so.

Thanks JR. Is the gap where the bumper guard meets the valance?
