Turn signal problem. Cruise control issue
Crazy problem with the front right turn signal on my '84 911. The bulb will not flash. Works fine as parking light but it will not flash. All other signals works fine including the right rear so I don't think it's a switch issue. Any Suggestions?
Also my cruise control will activate but it will not maintain speed. It engages and will accelerate but it will not hold speed. Any help would be appreciated. |

For the cruise problem, that is the classic symptom of your cruise control module going bad. You can send it in to Pelican and they will have it rebuilt for you for a bit over $100.
Have you recently had the front bumper off and been fiddling with the wiring to the bulb housing? Sounds like it is either a wiring connection issue at the housing, or it could also be the wrong kind of bulb. Some bulbs aren't designed to flash. Maybe somebody replaced it with the wrong bulb. You can test this by swapping the bulb with the left side one and see if the problem remains on the right side. If so, it's probably a loose wire over there. |
