Anyone recognize these wheels?
appear to be custom built welded on the backside, no manufacturer markings only the bolt pattern 5x130

just a follow-up...had these wheels balanced as a condition of purchase, straight & true but heavy like a Ruf. while removing old wheel-weights i found the manufacturer P-C-W 11x17 -09-91 Looks like they're Panther Custom Wheels. the center caps are beautiful but once again heavy. Rears have nos Goodyear Eagle 285/35/17 which is an unusual tire today but about the same heigth as 245/45/16. anyway mounted these bad boys up on my turbo-look w/o the factory spacers and dropped the car down, the tires sticking out about an inch past the fender wells, bummer, i don't think i can dial in enough neg camber or machine
the backside of the wheel flange (probably not safe to do anyway) so close yet... Anyone know what pcar these were probably built for? 944T or 964T tia. |
