fitting size question. Please read
I look in Ebay and found several oil cooler, nothing fit my car yet but diff fitting size confusion me. For example 12AN fittings, 12 NPTTF blah blah.
Can some one explain what are these and how do I size these in inches? Thanks.

dash twelve ( -12) is fractions of an inch measured "in sixteeenths"....
....so dash 12 is 12/16 ...or 3/4"... NPT...common plumbing term...Normal Pipe Thread.... BTW... none of this will fit Porsche factory tubing...all in metric ( 30 mm, etc). -Wil
