'68 911 battery tray help
I've bought a Duralast AGM Miata battery (eight year warranty and very light at 24lbs.) for my '68 911 and am looking for ideas on securing it in the car.
I don't have the factory plastic trays and so far haven't been able to source an aftermarket metal tray small enought to fit the space in the trunk. I'll be trying a Miata factory plastic tray, but don't know if it is strong enough to work. Any ideas? Thanks, Mike |

Mike,
Welcome to the Forum. You will find lots of good info here. John is right on; he and many others are helping to document things correctly. My original ’68 is about 5000 later than yours but we should be able to compare all the details. Best, Grady gradyclay@hotmail.com
