sc flare question
What is the blend line of these flares at the center of the wheel arch? Is it a continuous blend into the rest of the body or is there flare line around the whole arch?

It is a continuous blend, there is no defining line to speak of.

Thanks...................... about how wide should the blend be before dropping down and a defined flare-line starts? I'm assuming the flare doesn't end at a point where the contour changes.

If you are going to add flares to an earlier car, cut way more material from the donor than you need.
When I did this, I cut from the tail light opening, to just under the window, to just behind the door, and included the hole for torsion bar removal. That way it was easy to line up the flares exactly where they should be. If you cut off just the part that looks flared, it may be difficult to know when it is lined up correctly. |

A bit late.... I actually purchased these on the BBS and there is plenty of material except at the top of the flare. I get good alignment all around except the top center seems to come short of where the blend would occur. The Bottom edges of the arches are lined up so I need to make any adjustments at the top.
