'89 C4: Brake Rotor Recommendations?
Need to replace all four rotors, which are now stock. I was thinking about just going with the stock version again, but was wondering if there was any strong sentiment about the drilled or slotted versions? Any thoughts? Thanks.

Steve,
Do a search here on Pelican. I was pondering the same question recently and found tons of useful information for both sides of the argument. Cracking seems to be the big problem but I think that tends to be more with track cars. I ended up going with cross-drilled rotors all around. Basically, a setup like the early Turbos. A little bling sure, but I figure if the factory used them they should be ok for me.

There is a world of difference between the factory 'holey' rotors which were designed to be that way and the aftermarket versions which were drilled after the fact. For street use doesn't matter for track it does.

Are the holes in factory rotors cast in?
My car is mainly for street but now I may keep my old rotors for the track.
