3.2 Dashboard Rattle
Suddenly got a slight rattle in the dashboard of my 3.2 coupe yesterday. Was like a slight vibration/rattle in the dash -- very slight -- even when sitting idle. The heat was off, felt like a slightly loose component inside the dash, and not coming from the motor or tranny. The engine hums just fine.
The heater rattles for a few seconds when started cold, but then silences. I'm thinking something needs to be tightened there, but figured I'd ask before tearing up the dash. Anyone ever have this issue? Not a big deal, but very annoying. Thanks.

Not much to go on...but you may want to ( first) look at the under-dash area from the trunk.
Remove the cardboard backside wall cover of the trunk and peek inside, might be as simple a relay connector that came loose from its body mounting. You'll also be able to see the various heater hoses / bits / cables, etc....so throuble shoot from there first before attacking the dash from the cockpit-side... Wil

Wil, thanks for the info. Spent a few minutes in the trunk earlier but just a cursory glance. Putting a spotlight on it this evening and will do a thorough lookover.
Appreciate the help!
