Anyone ever try modifying stock sways?

I was over at Andial today and saw what they call "toy car"

To keep it short I'll just say that it was the best representation of a "toy car" I have ever seen with about 75K put in to it.

911 body (unknown year)
3.2 convereted to 3.5 with 991HE and a custom exhaust

bilsteins all around with big reds

this car was so clean you could eat off it.

Anyhow back to the question, the rear sway bar they had was a OEM sway but it had a couple of extra holes drilled on to the pick up point for the drop links, this way it becomes in a sense, an adjustable sway.

Anyone ever dones this? What was your experience?

I have done it on an 86 style rear with the flat side flange and bolt on drop link. The spring steel is hard to drill. You use a carbide tip concrete drill and grind the end to match an ordinary drill bit.I don,t think I can feel a difference but there must be some increased stiffness because of the approx.1 inch shorter arm.
