Chrome inside light assemblies
Is it possible to re-chrome the insides of the lights? It's peeling off on some spots and eroded off of some others. I don't think it's normal chrome, is it? Seems more like the chrome for plastic. Has anyone done this?
Or do I just spray them with the shiniest silver paint I can find?

I've had the same thing happen on some old light housings. I've cleaned & polished up the reflective surface as best I could and sprayed it with silver, reflective paint. I think you can get paint like that from Eastwood & some others. Seems like I've seen a paint advertised just for that. Good luck.
