Does anyone recognize this tool? Know how to use it?
It says "USAG model 162/25 Fili 25 max" on the tool. The shaft in the center goes up and down three levels using the red lever on the side and has a very sharp blade on top. The white you see on the triangle piece on top are rollers - there are six of them. Anyone got any clues? I got when I bought a collection of USAG tools. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Jim could be right...the rollers aren't aligned well for a tubing cutter...Who knows? USAG is Italian, right???

pull back the plunger with blade and place cable inside of rollers. Move blade into cable sheath, adjust for depth and pull cable through slicing sheath for removal. Mine you can place anywhere on the cable and rotate around the outside and then pull the cable out, which will leave the cable exposed for inserting into battery lugs, or electrical panel lugs.
