Anyone modify headlight on slantnose yet?

My headlight (on slantnose) is the same as one on an old pickup truck, which doesn't have replaceable bulb. When the headlight bulb burned, you have to replace the whole headlight, which you canfind anywhere for around $10 each. I am not complainning about this but the visibility is very poor. The visibility on these light are the worst, I think.

Has anyone replaced these ehadlight with any other type of headlight? I am not looking to spend hundred of dollars on these, so is there a reasnable replacement on this?

Anyone experience one of these, pic below?

Thanks.

I have a set of those, IPCW I think? I have them with 55/65 H4s in one of my trucks. I didn't connect the blue light. They are OK, but I wouldn't buy them again. A little brighter then they stock seal beam. the beam pattern is too narrow for my liking. If you can get the old Hella replacment head lights, buy them. They are worth the $$$. I have them on 2 other trucks. The guys loves them. The beam spread is much greater. I just run them with some Silverstar bulbs that you can get from your local target or auto parts house. IPF also make the same quality replacment lights. Lots of guys dislike the PIAA bulb here. They call them disco lights and have read all sorts reports on the subject. I actual like them. They work damn well on a day to day to day driving. I just have the 55/65 watters with hellas on my Miata, My poor daily beater. Hope that helps.

What I have always thought would look great are the projector beams from an NSX. When I still had mine I always thought that they were the nicest pop up headlights I had seen. The slantnose headlights are too large and stand up too tall when deployed
