959 sighting?
I saw this Porsche on the 101 freeway going north around the Winettka offramp. Looks like a 911 conversion to me. All I had was my cell phone cam...

Yep, I think your right Dave, something about it says Getty Design, especially the wheels. Then again, this is So Cal and I do see 959's cruising around. There always seem to be a few at Andial and Crystal Cove.

Kinda hard to tell from a low-res image, but it could be the real deal. The side mirrors appear to be correct (tall stalk 959-specific), something you never see on a conversion. Also the rear decklid shut-lines looks correct. The "wheel arch" CJ mentioned may just be a shadow or reflection . Definitely aftermarket wheels though. The high 3rd brake light is the only "conversion" dead giveaway. Even then, maybe it could be a Bruce Canepa (USA legalized) 959?
Either way, nice scenery for your drive!
