You've probably already done all your comparison shopping but the first thing that strikes me is that lift is about $800 more than the comparable Bend Pak lift - which I'd bet you've already seen. So why the eagleequip one? Is it better?

I'm getting ready to buy one of these in the next month and I might be persuaded to spend a little more if there is some advantage I'm missing.

I believe the length is 174. The flip down ramps make it 200. Same would be true with the Eagle. 169 plus 37 inches of ramps.

(Edit...yeah...what you said)

But in any case, $2100 delivered is a good deal.

I wouldn't think the top is appreciably higher than the windshield frame.

Have you looked at http://www.backyardbuddy.com/ ?

What is your height measurement? Please take some pictures and post again when you get it installed. Thanks,

SoCal911sc, Go with the Bendpack, you will wish you had if you go with Eagle. My purchase from Eagle was a nightmare:

4 weeks late on delivery

I paid extra for driveway delivery, and I had to unload the thing.

Electric motor for hydraulic unit went out with less than 20 cycles on it ( up and down counting as 1)

New electric motor took 6 weeks to get to me when promised 1 week.

You might want to take a look at this thread on lifts over at the early911Sregistry. There's some good information in it.

"The Bend Pac needs an air compressor capable of 90 psi to operate the locks. Not that big of a deal, but my compressor is hella noisy. The Eagle uses a hand lever."
I have the Bend PAk. Nice unit. The locks will actually release with about 30-40 lbs.

Only need to raise 1", maybe less to release the locks. I just checked and had 40lbs in the compressor to make it work. I am sure they will even release with 30 or less. The stops are every 6". They are just a 1x1 3" piece of steel welded to the post. I am sure you could weld a set in to your exact height if your optimal height was in the middle of the range.
