Carrera, no spoilers lift at 150mph ~450lbs with spoilers ~50lbs. (that's front and rear combined)


C&D (I think) tested a '72 car with S style front valance and ducktail and could quantify the difference as slow as 60mph.

long hood cars had a better Cd than Bellows bumpers cars.

I wonder how much overall lift is reduced with a chin spoiler only?

Probably in the neighborhood of 100 pounds total. You might actually increase the lift at the rear of the car, if the front lip spoiler was close enough to the ground. Porsche experimented with something similar on an early 911 and acheived some downforce at the front, enough to increase the lift at the rear through leverage over the front axle.
