Cold Start Valve help...where is it??
Debating getting a new cold start valve to resolve some cold start issues...Does anyone know where this is within the engine on a '73.5? Does anything need to be removed to get to it? I'm hoping this isn't a headache to get in...
Thanks for the help... |

Read the below links and the links they lead to before trying to pull the CSV in a 73.5 T.

See the below thread for images of the back of the engine and the CSV in a 1973.5T CIS. Note the engine was out of the car and on an engine stand when these images were captured.

Melo - Make sure yours is bad before replacing it. They are getting hard to find for the '73.5. Last I heard, the price was over $500 and climbing fast........It's located on the top of the engine, on the left side more towards the front of the car than the rear. Should have access after pulling the airbox.
