I think the SC cams and a K27-7006 for 30HP crank gain, is a very reseasonable expectation.
|
I have found when dyoning just the switch to a K27 from a 3LDZ that there was about a 35HP difference.
Take that with a grain of salt since different dynos read different. My numbers are based a baseline then the turbo change. |
Fair enough.
Would the HFS that you sell (Stephen) be good for about the same HP, and maybe more? |
Little more.
|
Stephen,
Could you provide the HP ratings for the turbo's? I am interested in the HF or the HFS. I'm interested in turbochargers that are capable of flowing 500HP Max@maximum efficiency. I'm looking for a relatively flat curve from 3000-6200RPM on a CIS system w/B&B headers @ a maximum of 1.1bar. |
How could Porsche only come up with 30 HP with those "'S" mods?
revised exhaust larger turbo intercooler more boost cams Today most people comment that with these mods an other wise stock 3.3 L will produce around 400 HP (Stainless Headers, Larger Intercooler, K-27, SC or 964 cams, and 1Bar of boost) Jerry S ps Is the modern thought accurate ???? |
It looks like the "S" mods consist of a different muffler only for the revised exhaust and run stock boost as stated in an earlier post. Headers, more boost, the SC or 964 cams and the more modern versions of the K-27 like Imagine Auto sells, along with a larger, more efficient intercooler to allow for the higher boost levels could be the formula to 400 h.p.

I recently rebuilt my Euro 930 and added a K27 and SC cams and got 283 and 294 RWHP on two pulls, running .9 boost. I'd post the sheet but the all I end up posting is a big black picture.
