sc will not run

Hi guys,

I have a 82 911. The car was parked down in Florida for about a month. It was parked with an empty tank of gas.

Now the car will not start. If it does start it runs bad. Pops real bad and seems to be extreemly rich.

I am afraid that there might have been some water in the last bit of the tank and now something (fuel distributor or injectors)

Need some help. My buddy is down in FL, and now he is thinking he might need to transport it home to OH.

Thanks

Ed

If you think its water in the tank you can try some "drygas". Also, if it sat for a long time in high humidity, verify you ignition wires are dry and check for arcing in the evening when its dark.
