Simple Tach Question
I'd just like to know if I can use a 74 tach in an 80SC. I had a friend give one to me and before I throw it in, just thought I'd ask the "experts" on Pelican if there would be any problems between the two.

Stijn,
Can you verify that the '73 tach runs off the 12v square wave signal from the side of the MSD box? Anything else in the circuit? No tach adapter?

works like that on mine, no adapters
might not work on your 66 but your 71 probably will work fine with it
