Bearing End Cap
What is the best way to pry off the bearing end cap of a wheel?
I'm a newbie and want to replace my rotors, so I'm stuck at the first step! Would a crow bar be too heavy-handed? If not, do you pry it from the lip near the top or somewhere else? Thanks for your help!

Use the search function; search in the 911 Technical Forum using the term "dust cap"

Do a search there are a number of articles written on this. The best way I read was with a muffler clamp ( two of them). .. they you have something to pry against.

Thanks for your help.
I wasn't using the correct search term before...when I used "dust cap" like you suggested, it came right up. I'm going out now to get muffler clamps!

That worked...I used muffler clamps and a crow bar and it slowly and steadily came off.
Thanks.
