What is the primary resistance of an OEM '87 Carrera ignition Coil?

I'm assuming I need to know the primary (side) resistance before upgrading ignition coils so the impedance is nearly the same, right?

Why would you need to upgrade your stock coil? It already has enough reserve to fire plugs set to 0.060" without any problems.

You might consider upgrading your Beru wires instead. They cannot handle the higher energy needed for a larger plug gap than stock.

Cheers,

Joe
