correct top materials for an '83 cab?
Autos International is telling me German Happich and black herringbone headliner are the correct materials.
My local installer is telling me German Sonnenland and black brocade are the correct materials. Which is it? What the hell is the difference. I normally don't care about trival crap like this, but since I'm going through the trouble of replacement and I'm keeping my car stock I want to get it right. If your answering my question, please give your source to back it up. Thanks.

Sonnenland ist OEM for most Porsche, BMW and Mercedes, so i think, thats definitly a good choice for best quality.
you can find an explanation of different materials here: http://www.cabrio.de/Englisch/navi.htm Jo |

Thanks, Jo!
Good that's what I ended up ordering. I drop my car off at the installer's next Wednesday and pick it up Friday to have the original 23 year old top replaced. ![]()
