Need more help with my power windows

Hi All,
My car is an 86 carrera. Fuse 1 (power windows and sunroof) kept blowing. Thanks to Ron (Mystery Train) and DaveE, I was able to disconnect both the power windows. I reconnected the drivers side-fuse blew. Disconnected the drivers side, connected the passenger side-fuse was fine
Sunroof worked. The thing is the passenger side power window itself will not work even though it is reconnected. I was feeling pretty happy that the fuse was not blowing, but that ended real fast when I discovered the passenger side window does not work.
Any advice on how to proceed with this would be greatly appreciated.
Mike

I have all my switches out of my car for a repaint so maybe I can help some what. I could be wrong but I think the wires go to the motor first then to the switches.

I think the reason your pass window is not working is because the wiring is powered through the drivers side wiring.

I'm wondering if your window motor on the drivers side is shorted out and poping the fuse.

Like I said before, I could be wrong.
