Dallas/Ft Worth Porsche Prayer Meeting Saturday 4/1
Hey Guys,
We’re gonna do something a little different than sit and drink coffee this time! On Saturday 4/1, Pelican member si banker(Jay) has graciously extended an invitation for us to meet at his place in Southlake. Jay has some interesting toys in his stable including some very cool motorcycles that he has built as well as all the mods he’s engineered for his immaculate Carrera. Some of his bracketry is artwork in itself. After we get an eyeful of his toys, the plan is to drive over to Kincaids for a burger and adult beverage, then a short drive up to Solana(an architectural icon) for some glamour shots of our cars. After the photos, anyone who wants, can join a drive to the Dallas Cooper Aerobics Clinic for the Hot Rides, Cool Times car show sponsored by Texas Driver Magazine. There will even be a special visitor in town from the Pacific Northwest that I’m sure many of you will want to meet for a taste of his special wit and wisdom. Details: 9:30 AM – Meet at Jay’s house in Southlake. We’re not going to publish his address on the net so please pm or email me and I’ll send you the meeting place. 11:00 AM – We’ll head over to Kincaids in Southlake for lunch. The place is supposed to be legendary. Noon - Short drive to Solana for great photo ops 1:00 PM – head to Dallas Cooper Center at 12200 Preston Road for Car Show. The event is from noon to 5:00 PM so there should be plenty of time. You will need to go to the Texas Driver website and sign up for the event before 3/24. Here is the link - Texas Driver Magazine sign up Look forward to seeing a bunch of you guys there. Be sure and contact me for directions to the Jay’s place – mark at markwilson.net From last weekend's get together - ![]() |

Hey.. that is a LOT closer than Richardson!!!
Oh, and Solana is a great place for photos. We had a MUSR there in 2000. If all goes well , I should be there.

Any opposition to a newbie?
Do you think its bad to drive too much with the CV's clunking?

I'm down for this.
For the record, I don't rate Kincaids in the legendary category, but I've had worse. ![]() Do you have to actually sign up for the show, or is that if you want to actually show your car?

Swa - No opposition at all - would be glad to see you! Can't answer about the CV's though. Shoot me your email address and I'll send you back the location we're meeting in Collyville.

You have to sign up for attendence as well. There's a pull down screen to pick that option. |

We should be back by then, albeit living out of boxes. I'll definitely try to make it.
