6 inch fuchs

Ok, now I can't find the post to save my life, but earlier today I read someones response asking if they were early fuchs to figure out what the hub and center cap hole sizes were.

Are there two different types of 6" fuchs? I'm looking to buy a set to have Linsey make into 17", but don't want to buy the wrong ones if there's two types.

If there are, to camplicate things, I have an early car with what I assume would be early front hubs, but now has aluminum trailing arms that came with hubs which I was planning on running. Do I need two different types of fuchs?

No A/C, no Sun Roof, no power windows. Fast and light, just the way I like it. (Sad to say, it's sold. But at least it remains with us on this board.)

The two different sizes of center cap holes, and the two different types of 6" Fuchs refers to 15" wheels. For your custom made 17" wheels you need to start with 6x16s, of which there is only one kind.

Ok, thanks! That's a relief. I thought there was yet, ANOTHER difference between the early car and my 74.

I think this is the thread you are talking about: Holes in center caps?!?.
