transmission mount=engine mount

I have my engine and trans out and I want to replace my mounts. I can't seem to figure out from the Pelican catalog if the trans mounts and the engine mounts are the same part number. Do I just need to purchase 4 engine mounts in order to replace all? thanks, Ken

They are the same parts. Look at the Wevo mounts. They are nice.

Yes they are all the same, the wevo's are very nice a tad expensive, if you choose not to go for the wevo's buy the stock oem sport mounts, about $200 for 4, and an hour of time.

Leave the engine mounts very flexable. If you opt for stiffer mounts, put them at the transmission only.

The engine & trans cannot be 'stressed members'.

Best,
Grady

there are 4 levels of stiffness [+ solid metal for those who want to destroy their PMOs]

1 - stock rubber from P AG - flexiest
2 - cabrio rubber from P AG
3 - newer wevo mounts
4 - original wevo mount - stiffest

iirc, #3 is blue; and #4 is black - not sure tho

start at #1 and only modify if your rebuilt shifter and trans. do not shift well on corners

the world is full of overly stiff, overly sprung, overly cammed cars with carbs and exhaust that are too big for the motor

But isn't more always better?
It goes to 11. That's one louder, now isn't it?
