Wow, look what the wife found in a box in the attic!

Didn't realize I had it. From my ex-'73.5 911T that I owned in the early '80's. Must have been a spare. Very cool.

Brand new, complete Maintenance and Warranty manual for 1973. No writing or entries. The clear window on the cover has the Porsche Crest embossed. All the pages are perfect. The pocket in the rear contains the address change cards you would send to Volkswagen of America and the New Vehicle Delivery Inspection list.

Advertise in on the S Registry board's classifieds. Hey, ask $500...there are people who hang out there who like to prove that P.T. Barnum was right. I'm amazed that nothing was filled in. The one I have contains dealer's stamps, the original owner's name & address at the time, etc.

I'd scan into PDF format before getting rid of it.

I did that with the coupon book I had for a '63 Studebaker. Thing was, the dealer in town stopped selling Studebakers in 1966, changed hands several times and is now a garage and service station. Their receptionist gave me a blank stare but the owner, who knew the shop's history, was good for a laugh. Didn't get the free oil change and lube, though...

Better yet, put it up on Ebay and advertise it on the S Registry... $500 might be the opening bid.

Yep those folks with their longhoods poop money -$500 to start - don't touch it again, it might still have the hand oil from someone who worked in marketing with Porsche in 1973...

Get a rubber 'Vasek Polak' stamp made up & stamp the front page.

Then it will probably be worth $1500.

I love stuff like this..... I will second the "put it on ebay and advertise it on the s registry" comment. Then post the link here so we can follow it!

Mine has been pawed by smarmy car dealers, soiled by grubby mechanics hands, and dog-eared by a previous owner.

My maintenance book however, looks like new.
